Sharon is the eldest girl and the second tallest of the family, after Jim. She plays the violin and sings most of the backing vocals. You can spot her doing both at the same time!!!

What would The Corrs sound like without a violin? Not good I'd say. The Corrs's sound is a blend of traditional with modern pop-rock. So, no violin, no traditional element. The violin is a vital part of The Corrs's music, the backbone of their sound, you could say. There's nothing like hearing that magnificent fiddle in hands as skilled as Sharon's. The thought of The Corrs without a violin is really scary!!!

Picture this: a huge venue and a soft and hurtful sound and yet full of life that reaches the hearts of more than 30.000 people giving them shivers down the back. There are no words to describe this heavenly music, all you can do is... listen. Her solos are the main highlights of a Corrs concert. Sharon loves interacting with the audience, talking to them and smiling during every track. She's a lot of fun on stage.

Judging from the way she acts, talks or looks, one could say she's the bossy type, always trying to keep everything under control, and not a very nice person. Well whoever thinks that is dead wrong.

She is the most enchanting person you have ever laid eyes on. Always happy to chat with the fans, to pose and smile. Sure, she talks a hell of a lot and that might create the misguided image of the "I'm the boss" type but that's just how she is. She prefers to think at herself as organized rather than bossy.

Every Corr plays (at least) an instrument and playing live requires very high skills and a lot of rehearsing. The sound has to be flawless because the music The Corrs play allows you to hear every tune but also every mistake. But Sharon is only human and she does make some mistakes (very few, though) such as starting to play too early giving the audience, her siblings and herself the chance to have a good laugh. All this it's part of the show and people love these tiny hilarious bits!

Not only she's talented but Sharon is also very beautiful, with those fantastic greeny eyes that lighten up her face. If Andrea is gorgeous, Caroline cute, then Sharon is truly beautiful. Without Sharon, The Corrs would be just another band from Ireland and not an Irish band....

From the fans

'I've just discovered the wonderful music and literally "can't turn it off'. The clarity of the tunes and depth of lyrics is simply enchanting. It gets cold here in Ottawa and this music warms a room with soft embers of voices and music. And that violin....I know little about them but Sharon seems the most mature of the bunch and most Irish. That's what I see and hear right now."

"Sharon is one of the most beautiful women on this Earth!!!!!!! I love her voice much. She's the one."

'VERY BEAUTIFUL, I must say. A very talented violinist indeed. She's also gorgeous, and has a nice voice too."

"A wonderful violin player, who almost makes me shiver when she plays. She is also very beautiful, and seems to have good control over herself. But actually, who am I to say anything like that, I've never met her! That bow's rockin" in her hands!"

'Beautiful, princess Sharon. A VERY TALENTED MUSICIAN, lovely voice, and great hair! CLASSY!"

"Mature, responsible, and motherly!!"

'Her name, Sharon, means a princess of exotic beauty. And she really is."

'She certainly knows how to play that violin, and nice backing vocals."

"She is a nice person, she can play a violin very well. She have a lovely voice when she's singing with Caroline."
